Characteristic

Double row angular contact ball bearing is composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, ball and cage components. Cage materials include nylon, sheet steel or brass. The structure of double row angular contact ball bearing is similar to the narrowing slightly pair of O-type arrangement of angular contact ball bearings. But it differs in that the contact angle and ferrule design, it is a high rigidity of the bearing arrangement to withstand the overturning moment.

Double row angular contact ball bearings are divided into open, seal and split inner ring design. Because standardized manufacturing process, for open bearings, the seals or dust cover is formed with grooves placed on the outer ring. Sealed bearings are maintenance-free, so you can achieve particularly economical bearing arrangement. Angular contact ball bearing angular adjustment is very limited.

Open designed double row angular contact ball bearings can withstand axial loads and high radial loads. Double row angular contact ball bearing is particularly suited to the need to achieve a rigid axial guide bearing configuration. 32A and 33A series double row angular contact ball bearings with optimized internal geometry, no filling slots, contact angle of 30°, the structure is back to back configuration.

Sealed design double row angular contact ball bearings can provide bearings with seals or dust cover at the same time. 32A and 33A series of bearings marked with high-quality lithium grease, this grease has a good anti-corrosion function, can be used at a temperature from -30°to + 120°. Sealed bearings were lubricated for life time use and require no maintenance, but should never be cleaned before installation or heated above 80℃.

Bearings with split inner ring can be put into more and larger balls, and therefore have a higher carrying capacity, especially axial load. 33D series bearing with contact angle of 45°, with a special internal clearance and can withstand heavy axial loads in both directions, the bearings are separable design, the outer ring and the ball – cage and the inner ring can be installed separately. 33DNRCBM series bearing with contact angle of 40°, the outer ring with snap groove and snap ring, these can be done axial positioning in the bearing housing and simplify the bearing arrangement and space-saving, non-isolated design.

Sealing solutions

Shielded bearings, suffix 2Z, provide two kinds of different structural design.

Bearing with a ring, the suffix 2RS1, which being made of strip seal skeleton nitrile rubber (NBR), the outer seal into the groove and can provide a good seal. These seals allow the operating temperature from -40 to 100℃, in a short time up to + 120℃.

Lubrication

Sealed bearings use high-quality bearing grease lubrication,these greases can meet the requirement of the bearing lubrication in the operational life cycle.

Misalignment

When there is an angle error between the inner and outer rings of the double row angular contact ball bearing, balls and raceways will lead to bear a greater load. Any angle error will result in increased noise and shorten the working life of the bearing.

Operating temperature

KMR angular contact ball bearings undergo a special heat treatment, equipped with a steel or brass cage, bearings can operate at temperatures up to + 150℃. bearing of Nylon 6,6 cage operating temperature can reach to +120℃.

In continuous high temperature operating conditions or adverse conditions, it is recommended to use pressed steel cage or machined brass cage bearings.
