Self-aligning ball bearings can not be separated double row bearings The bearing consists of spherical outer ring raceway, inner rings with a cylindrical or tapered bore and ball and cage assemblies. Therefore, self-aligning bearings can withstand angle error between the shaft and the bearing. Especially suitable for shaft deflection and misalignment conditions. In addition, self-aligning ball bearing friction is the lowest of all rolling bearings, even at high speed is still only a small temperature rise.
Bearings are divided into open, sealed design.
Radial and axial load capacity
Aligning ball bearings can withstand axial load and radial load.
With cylindrical or tapered bore
Cylindrical bore is the basic design of self-aligning ball bearing, tapered bore can be a certain size (taper 1:12).
Self-aligning ball bearings with sleeves
Self-aligning ball bearings with a tapered bore use adapter sleeve and withdrawal sleeve mounted on the shaft ,it is easy for mounted , and also simplify the design of bearing arrangement .Adapter sleeves are more popular than withdrawal sleeves as they do not require axial locating devices on the shaft .

Self-aligning ball bearings with an extended inner ring are designed for less demanding applications that use commercial grade shafting. The special bore tolerance, facilitates mounting and dismounting.Self-aligning ball bearings with an extended inner ring have locating slot
at the side of the inner ring to fixed with locating slot .
KMR provide the contact seal on both sides that is made of oil and wear-resistant NBR and reinforced with a sheet steel insert ( suffix 2RS1) . The permissible operating temperature range is  -40℃ ~ 100℃ .
Sealed bearings use high quality anti-corrosion lithium grease , maintenance-free . Should not be washed or heating the bearings above 80 °C
The permissible operating temperature range of open bearing with brass cage is -30℃ ~ +150℃ .
The highest operating temperature of bearing with glass fibre reinforced polyamide cage is +120 ℃ .
The permissible operating temperature range of sealed bearings is -40℃ ~ 100℃ . ( limits for the greases and the seal materials)
One-piece stamped steel cage , ball centred ,without suffix .
Two-piece stamped steel cage , with out suffix .
One-piece or two-piece snap-type PA6,6 glass fibre reinforced polyamide cage. Ball centred , suffix is TN9 .
One-piece or two-piece snap-type PA6,6 cage , ball centred , suffix is TN
One-piece or two-piece machined brass cage, ball centred ,suffix is M .

The lubricants generally used for rolling bearings do not have a detrimental effect on cage properties.However, some synthetic oils and greases with a synthetic oil base and lubricants containing EP additives, when used at high temperatures, can have a detrimental effect on polyamide cages. So must obey the lubricants replacement cycle .
