And the reasons for bearing damage
Most damage to bearing damage can be divided into two categories: pre-run damage and run damage. Run before damage occurs during installation or before damage occurs while running in the bearing is running.
Before running the cause of damages:
Incorrect shaft and housing complexes;
Shaft and bearing in a bearing mating surface defects;
Static misalignment;
Installation;
Current through the bearing (high voltage)
Transportation, handling and storage;
Run damage causes:
Fatigue;
Invalid lubrication;
Invalid seal;
Vibrations (fretting corrosion);
Run misalignment;
Current through the bearing (current leakage);
